I heard it on ABC radio’s Geraldo Rivera show. Commenting on the Zimmerman trial and, specifically about the lawyers representing the Martin family, a white woman said “I would never hire a black lawyer” because she felt they ignored the facts in the case following the acquittal.

Also on Tuesday, when Rush Limbaugh opened his show he dwelt at length about a CNN interview with Trayvon Martin’s friend, Rachel Jeantel, and her definition of “creepy ass cracka”, which she explained is spelled with an “a”, not with “er”. Thereafter, he devoted much of the first hour to defending Zimmerman and decrying the way the media tried to lynch him.

Over at AmericanThinker.com, Jeannie DeAngelis, after the obligatory statement that Trayvon’s death was a tragedy, tore into him and other black youths, saying “Instead of blaming racism for profiling a black kid…how about placing the blame at the feet of all black youth, like Trayvon, whose behavior on other occasions causes suspicion to be focused in the general direction of perfectly innocent black teenage youth?” 

It’s worth noting that the gated community where George Zimmerman was a volunteer neighborhood watch participant had been subject to a number of break-ins and robberies. You don’t organize a neighborhood watch if there is nothing to watch.

Then DeAngelis put the pedal to the metal citing FBI and other authoritative sources for statistics about black-on-black crime and for the high rate of abortion, 36%, among blacks despite the fact that they constitute only 13% of the total population. She wasn’t too happy with the first black President of the U.S., who, she said, “sheds tears over murdered children, but it’s always attached to advancing a specific political agenda.”

Across the blogosphere, other white commentators were shedding political correctness to express what, in their view, reflected the largely unexpressed general views of white people in America.

A friend and fellow blogger put it this way: “Nothing much has changed since (emancipation). The only thing of substance that has changed is that now, rather than being thankful for freedom, the descendants of those freed slaves, despise white Americans for, as I believe they see it, forcing them to feel beholden to white America.”

"Understand: There will never be an open and honest debate in America about black and white racism. Never. Neither side can handle the truth…neither side will face the truth and neither side wants the debate.” 

“White America is fed up. We long since gave up the notion that the black community wanted equality and justice. White America is now convinced that black America wants nothing less than to punish white Americans for something for which they—today’s white Americans—bear no guilt.”

I disagree in one respect. Thanks to the Zimmerman trial and all the discussion that has followed in its wake, Americans are debating black and white racism.

Indeed, for many whites, the notion that blacks can be racist has come as a revelation. Whites have been conditioned to see blacks as victims of a society in which they are at a disadvantage because of their skin color. No doubt many blacks share this view, but despite the horrid statistics about blacks in America, there has been a growing middle class that has been invisible for decades, along with a cohort of professionals in medicine, law and other fields. Ironically, many have become law enforcement officers—police!

Black achievers have become visible in America and, for the race hustlers like Rev. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, much of what they say now sounds increasingly hollow, self-serving and false to whites. Sharpton is busy trying to drum up more protests around the nation in the same way he inserted himself early into the Zimmerman debate, urging criminal charges be brought.

The ultimate achiever, of course, is the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama. Never mind that he is half white. Obama has always embraced his black half and made no excuses for it. It is worth keeping in mind that he could not have been elected and reelected without a lot of white votes, as well as those from the Hispanic community. He obviously had 98% of the black votes.

Most certainly no other President could have ever said, “If I had a son he would look like Trayvon”, thus insinuating himself into the trial even before it began. In the wake of the verdict, he still could not urge peaceful protests without pushing his anti-gun agenda. Trayvon got himself killed by attacking George Zimmerman, by punching him, by pummeling his head into the concrete. That’s what the jury concluded “so say all of us.”

Someone should remind Attorney General Eric Holder of that.

 

The question I do not hear anyone in the media asking or answering is “Who is organizing the protests” that we’ve seen in cities around the nation? Who got all those people to show up in the same place at the same time? One of the groups is the Freedom Socialist Party and another is the International Action Center that describes itself as “anti-capitalist” and “anti-imperialist.” It is just one of many whose “community organizers” are quite adept at this and which, like the President, are acolytes of Saul Alinski, the Communist who dedicated his book, “Rules for Radicals”, to Lucifer.

So, not only did Trayvon get himself killed, but the trial has sparked one of the most open and lively discussions of race in America that has occurred since Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his famous speech; only this time, contrary to what my fellow blogger believes, whites are saying and writing what they really think.

The Great State of Illinois?

A State with ZERO Republicans This is the political culture that Barack Obama comes from in Illinois. It is all he knows. There are more people on Welfare in Illinois than there are people working. Chicago pays the highest wages to teachers than anywhere else in the U.S. averaging $110,000/year. Their pensions average 80-90% of their income. You can't blame that on Republicans, because there aren't any. Wow, are Illinois and Chicago great or what? Be sure to read till the end. I've never heard it explained better. Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago? Body count: In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago. 221 killed in Iraq AND Chicago has one of the strictest gun laws in the entire US!!! Here's the Chicago chain of command: . President: Barack Hussein Obama . Senator: Dick Durbin . House Representative: Jesse Jackson Jr. . Governor: Pat Quinn . House leader: Mike Madigan . Atty. Of course, they're all blaming each other. . But can't blame Republicans; there aren't any! . Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country. Can't blame Republicans; there aren't any! State pension fund $78 Billion in debt, worst in country. Can't blame Republicans; there aren't any! . Cook (''Crook?'') County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. Can't blame Republicans; there aren't any! This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. It's all he knows. And he is going to 'fix' Washington politics for us??? He is 'fixing' it alright!!! Just like so many former Illinois Governors 'fixed' a lot of things (elections, Senate appts, AG cover ups). It's all he knows. . George Ryan is no longer Governor, he is in the ''big house''. . Of course he was replaced by Rod Blagojevitch who is.....oh yeah, that's right, also in the big house. . And Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned a couple of weeks ago. Because he is desperately fighting being sent to...that's right, the big house. . The Land of Lincoln, where our governors make your license plates. But you know what? As long as they keep providing entitlements to the population of Chicago, nothing is going to change, except the state will go broke before the country does. But that's Obama's plan...as long as he keeps providing entitlements to the population of the entire US...nothing is going to change...Democrats stay in control. It's the ''perfect fix''. And the Land of Lincoln (land of the honest Republican)... will be no more...... "Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian."

Fixing Congress.

Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise. At least 20 if you can. It has to stop (start) somewhere. In three days, most people in The United States of America will have this message. This is one idea that really should be passed around *Congressional Reform Act of 2013 1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. 2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. all funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/31/13. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congressmen/women made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work. If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Don't you think it's time? THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS! I've often wondered when I watched news footage of years past like the man standing against the tank in Tianamen Square in China, how could that happen, Countryman against Countryman. Kind of a naive feeling I guess since it happens time and time again even in America. We've seen a rapid expansion of such evil here at home in America in the last generation at the behest of both parties.  Thanks to the progressive/union dumbing down of Americans in our schools about our Constitution, an unlimited supply of tax dollars to corrupt the police and the courts, and a bully mentality of public officials at all levels of Government we should be naive no more. 
The thing is authorities have become so corrupt that if this guy hadn't had 3 kids and even his wife in the car with him there may have been a whole different outcome even with a camera. Evidence is easy to dispose of by corrupt officials they haven't quite perfected the women and children part yet.

Time for Florida to....... "Stand It's Ground".

The George Zimmerman trial was a political show trial from the start meant only to appease the leftist's and the left wing segment of the black community.

        The Race Baiting Racist's at MSNBC as well as the rest of the main stream media and the rest of the Progressive/Communist community are now calling for civil rights and Federal indictments against George Zimmerman. Let's get to the facts, George Zimmerman shot Junior Gang Banger Trayvon Martin in self defense. Evidence indicates Zimmerman was heading back to his car when attacked by Martin. Evidence indicates that Martin was attempting to kill Zimmerman by beating his head into the pavement when as a last resort Zimmerman managed to pull his legal gun and shoot Martin. Justice has been served though George Zimmerman has lost over a year of his life which perhaps some should be held accountable for notably some in the media like NBC/MSNBC,  as well as the NAACP and the Florida Prosecutors office. Florida should stand it's ground against the Race Baiting Racist's of the Progressive left in any more criminal attacks against George Zimmerman. If we do not have reasonable laws 'for all', the right of self defense, 'for all' we have nothing. If any Federal attempts are made against George Zimmerman, Florida should show them the door and "Stand Their Ground".

The thing about a police state is that it tends to creep up on you. One day you think the Bill of Rights is intact and the freedoms you take for granted are intact, but the next day you find out that under the National Defense Authorization Act (HR 1540), signed into law by President Obama on December 31, 2011, you can be arrested and detained without recourse to an attorney or the courts.

HR 1540 kills the concept of Habeas Corpus by permitting the detention of U.S. citizens without trail. In 2009 the National Emergency Centers Act, HR 645,  was introduced for the establishment of “internment camps.” I have not been able to determine if it was passed and signed into law, nor have I found any explanation why the Congress of the United States either passed or even considered these laws.

The 2001 Patriot Act was justified as a response to 9/11 and revised in 2012. It gives the government unprecedented powers of surveillance and enforcement in the name of deterring terrorism.

One of Obama’s many executive orders permits him to “commandeer” all domestic U.S. resources, including food and water supplies, energy productions, and transportation, even in times of peace, with no congressional oversight. On March 16, 2012, the National Defense Resources Preparedness EO expands on a law from the 1950s as the Cold War was heating up and there were fears of a conflict with the Soviet Union.

President Obama, obsessed with leaks to the press, has now turned the entire federal government into a workplace where employees are expected to report “suspicious activity” of their co-workers. Failure to do so could result in penalties including criminal charges. Though figures differ, by 2010 there were an estimated 2.5 million full-time federal employees.

According to an article by Jonathan S. Landay and Marisa Taylor, two reporters for McClatchy newspapers, the October 2011 executive order mandating the program is “based on behavioral profiling techniques that are not scientifically proven to work, according to experts and government documents.” The program, deemed flawed, “could result in illegal ethnic and racial profiling and privacy violations.”

As Americans have been learning in airports across the nation, the Transportation Security Authority routinely engages in profiling and highly intrusive physical “pat downs” that many find humiliating.

In 2011, the TSA’s “VIPR teams” conducted an estimated 8,000 unannounced security screenings at subway stations, bus terminals, seaports, and highway rest stops in which Americans were required to show some proof of identity. This is the same administration that opposes voter ID, but not when the police functions of the TSA are concerned.

In bits and pieces, news of activities at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been reported and, when the dots are connected, some very scary conclusions can be reached. Why has DHS purchased 1.6 billion bullets as of March of this year? That is reportedly twenty times more than the amount of bullets expended in the Iraq War. Why is the DHS reportedly sending thousands of heavily armored vehicles and combat gear to cities and towns around the nation for use by police forces that are increasingly being militarized?

One can find a list of actions by the Obama administration that, together, portray preparations for the implementation of a police state as Americans are detained, as per a DHS report, because they are deemed to be potential terrorists because they hold beliefs and ideologies that include:

# “being fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to international in orientation)”

# “anti-global”

# “suspicious of centralized federal authority”

# “reverent of individual liberty”

# “believe in conspiracy theories”

# “a belief that one’s personal and/or national ‘way of life’ is under attack”

# “a belief in the need to be prepared for an attack either by participating in paramilitary preparations and training or survivalism”

# “impose strict religious tenets or laws on society (fundamentalists)”

# “anti-abortion”

And those are just some of the “suspicious” activities or beliefs that can get you hauled off to a detention camp without the benefit of a trial.

While there have been a handful of incidents where terrorist acts have been perpetrated by those inspired by Islam, they do not justify preparations that clearly suggest the Obama administration anticipates a perceived national uprising against the federal government. Indeed, a number of marches in Washington, D.C. are planned, including one on September 9.

The legislation that has been passed and the executive orders put in place suggest that there are plans in place to ensure that the implementation of a police state can be swiftly imposed on Americans, contrary to all the protections of the Constitution. Indeed, given their existence, are we not already living in a police state?
