I can remember working on my backyard deck in late 80s, maybe early 90s. I listened to a lot of talk radio back then, it was mostly Rush on the Right and Larry King on the left.....always wrong. Back then you could hear the steady deterioration, arrogance and rudeness of Larry King leading to his ultimate radio demise...... of course that made him ripe and rotten for who was it, CNN?
That is pretty much what we see with Bill O'reilly today. With an abundance of arrogance, and anger he seldom leaves anybody else get a word in edgewise unless they are willing to get on bended knee for him. I actually had,.... well grudgingly still have a lot of respect for Bill but with his increasingly leftist and dangerously arrogant leanings we can only hope he can be pulled back from the "Dark Side".
O'reilly's latest tirade is against the Second Amendment and currently law-abiding gun owners. He seems completely willing to incarcerate American's by the millions by tens of millions if they refuse to register their firearms. Incarcerate, bankrupt, and/or murder as history shows always happens, as this kind of corruption and evil get out of control. That is just how corrupt our Government and much of our media has become.
Most of us including the NRA agree in reasonable back round checks, as long as they are separate from the corrupt Federal Government, that is a no brainer. As corrupt as the Federal Government is today anybody short of an devout leftist should find Federal intrusion into the Second Amendment abhorrent. That makes you increasing suspect Bill. But when it comes to registration, a registered weapon as history shows is a confiscated weapon. And we all know what follows then. That includes states and local registration, a registered firearm is a confiscated one, a state that sees fit to register will see fit to share with the Federal Government. All they have to do even if locality's resist is to threaten them with blackmail/extortion, to threaten to withhold federal funds (our tax dollars). They do it all the time. They are not cars O'reilly, they are the "Second Amendment", they protect us from evil, and we will not be legislated by evil.
This isn't his latest tirade where he actually calls for incarceration for those who fail to register their "Second Amendment", but he came close. But he has, I did see it, and I'm sure the video will show up in time.
