"GEORGE WASHINGTON'S VISION" "Then once more I beheld the villages, towns and cities springing up where I had seen them before, while the bright angel, planting the azure standard he had brought in the midst of them, cried with a loud voice: `While the stars remain, and the heavens send down dew upon the earth, so long shall the Union last.' And taking from his brow the crown on which blazoned the word `Union,' he placed it upon the Standard while the people, kneeling down, said, `Amen.'

So much awesome and such a variety of music in the seventies. It was all good at least before the Rap Crap started creeping in. During those moody teen years I'd put a stack of Olivia's albums on and spend hours dreaming about this lady.
Yep a child of the 70s and always most partial to the Ladies of Rock. The somewhat raspier voices of Joan Jett, Bonnie Tyler (really raspy), and the forever hot Suzi Quatro (The Leader of the Pack), were the best. Disco, Hard Rock, Soft/Easy Rock, Glam Rock, Motorcycle Rock?, they all mingled, and perhaps Suzi Q who was able to span the spectrum did it best. It is so unfortunate that she ended up in Europe to get her due respect. Maybe it was because she played under the banner of disco as well as others, I could never could quite figure out the venom against disco......It was Rock. There's a little Country mixed in now and then as well as some other odds and ends, 50s, 60s, 80s, and on, It's all good, but one things for sure, you won't find any Rap Crap here. The 70s still rule........always will.
Andthen there's the Worst of the Worst the Arrogant, Corrupt and Greedy Rat Bastard companies that are continually blocking the spirit of the music on Youtube to be listed in the future as they come up.
Music decades even generations old that we are fortunate to even have access to not because of anything these company's have done but due to the work of the many artists in their own right that work to save the works for future generations.
Another note on most if not all of these playlists. Most contain more than 200 vids but for whatever reason blogger only allows 200. To view the complete list click on youtube icon.
Sorry folks those that have been enjoying these vids. One of the creator's of some of these vids has seen fit to break the link with other web sites. They can still be accessed on youtube though I won't supply the link. It's always sad when vids especially classic old school stuff disappears for any number of reasons but greed and arrogance are the worst. In a way it's also sadly amusing when some, rightly so, see nothing wrong with using others material (images, tune's etc.) to create their own stuff but then seem to be miffed if other people share it. There's still a lot of sweet stuff here. Enjoy. Sorry folks A YouTube/Google Nazi decided it was within their perimeters to delete the playlist so I'll have to build it up again. Patience the liberal Nazi's are running thick nowadays. 3/1/17 Another attack (No. 2) by the YouTube SS Censorship Squad. They deleted the first play list but left the second. Wackos.
*Well, the YouTube Nazi SS censorship squad attacked again last night, 3/5/17. Once again for third time deleted my playlist 'Cruising "The Verse" For Those Alien Babe's." Put it back up with just a few vids. They keep taking it down without explanation or reason I'll keep putting it back up. Maybe at some point i'll rename it on YT to hopefully avoid the hassle here, but keep putting the name up also on YT just to piss them off. :( Well the ASSHOLE at YT deleted the playlist again, 3/8/17. Try something else, set it up on different account maybe the asshole snowflake won't find it there.

The full "vision" at the bottom of this blog......George Washington: Our country was enveloped in this volume of cloud, and I saw these vast armies devastate the whole country and burn the villages, towns and cities that I beheld springing up. As my ears listened to the thundering of the cannon, clashing of sword, and the shouts and cries of millions in mortal combat, I heard again the mysterious voice saying, `Son of the Republic, look and learn.' When the voice had ceased, the dark shadowy angel placed his trumpet once more to his mouth, and blew a long and fearful blast. "Instantly a light as of a thousand suns shone down from above me, and pierced and broke into fragments the dark cloud which enveloped America. At the same moment the angel upon whose head still shone the word Union, and who bore our national flag in one hand and a sword in the other, descended from the heavens attended by legions of white spirits. These immediately joined the inhabitants of America, who I perceived were will nigh overcome, but who immediately taking courage again, closed up their broken ranks and renewed the battle. "Again, amid the fearful noise of the conflict, I heard the mysterious voice saying, `Son of the Republic, look and learn.' As the voice ceased, the shadowy angel for the last time dipped water from the ocean and sprinkled it upon America. Instantly the dark cloud rolled back, together with the armies it had brought, leaving the inhabitants of the land victorious! "Then once more I beheld the villages, towns and cities springing up where I had seen them before, while the bright angel, planting the azure standard he had brought in the midst of them, cried with a loud voice: `While the stars remain, and the heavens send down dew upon the earth, so long shall the Union last.' And taking from his brow the crown on which blazoned the word `Union,' he placed it upon the Standard while the people, kneeling down, said, `Amen.'

Dedication of the U.S.S Screw-Em
Yes the Dedication of the latest Rebel Starship the U.S.S. Screw-Em goes to Fran Ryan the sweet old lady who ran Mrs. Hinkles Deluxe Motel in the Movie "Take This Job and Shove It." In the movie where the big corporation takes over the small brewery and commences to run it and the employees into the ground. Mrs. Hinkles favorite phrase for all who would dare raise her ire......."Screw-Em"
Matters of Importance for this blog, the Top Three .... or so!
1. The Second Amendment! As our Founding Fathers realized without the right of self-defense anarchy rules. 2. Our Energy Crisis! We need to do everything we can to steer ourselves to self sufficiency. 3. Cleaning up Corruption! Corrupt politicians, institutions and corporations run amuk.
4. Science Fiction...Space and all that that entails.
5. Suzi Quatro and all that she entails.

Pressing a batch of apple cider with my press at a friends house. Hard to imagine we've sank so low this is practically illegal now, well to sell the cider anyway. I can remember pressing a big batch for some friends I got to know. We partied pretty regularly and they had a small orchard they ran on the side so we decided we'd make a batch of Apple Jack. We did it a few times over the years. Usually 30 or 40 gallons at a time in a plastic barrel, I don't know how the name came about but we called it "The Baby". The first batch we did I think it was a smaller barrel we filled it to full. Mikes wife called him at work a some days later in a panic because the barrel was foaming over the top. Another batch we did we thought it was done fermenting so some of it was bottled up. Unfortunately or Fortunately depending on how you look at it they found it wasn't done when some of the bottles started blowing up in the basement. The ones that weren't designed to take pressure anyway. Our first experiment with "Bubbly". GOOD TIMES!!

My Passion for the Second Amendment!
I am a Second Amendment voter above all else, it takes the back seat to nothing else, though other things continue to be important. Our Founding Fathers left no doubt to whom and why they left us the citizens of this Country the Second Amendment. In fact the lies and very beligerance of the left puts them under the microscope of the Founding Fathers and their wisdom. Quotes and pictures of the good (the Founding Fathers) and maybe even the bad (and ugly) of the left will begin to show up below shortly. Vote Freedom First!
Slavery
Democrat, Progressive, Socialist, Marxist, Communist, they all have basically the same philosophy and have much in common, their hatred of Freedom, of Capitalism, of our Bill of Rights and our Constitution. The only difference between them is the amount of Force and Evil they will feel Entitled to use as they morph from ever increasing extreme's of evil in order to implement the SLAVERY OF "WE THE PEOPLE". [W]hen the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually...I ask, who are the militia? They consist of now of the whole people, except a few public officers. But I cannot say who will be the militia of the future day. If that paper on the table gets no alteration, the militia of the future day may not consist of all classes, high and low, and rich and poor... ---George Mason

Alexander Hamilton
Alexander Hamilton
A fondness for power is implanted, in most men, and it is natural to abuse it, when acquired.
The Judiciary...has no influence over either the sword or the purse; no direction either of the strength or of the wealth of the society, and can take no active resolution whatever. It may truly be said to have neither force nor will.
Alexander Hamilton: "...that standing army can never be formidable (threatening) to the liberties of the people, while there is a large body of citizens, little if at all inferior to them in the use of arms." (Federalist Paper #29)
Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.
George Washington
George Washington
George Washington: "Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the people's liberty teeth (and) keystone... the rifle and the pistol are equally indispensable... more than 99% of them [guns] by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference [crime]. When firearms go, all goes, we need them every hour." (Address to 1st session of Congress)

James Madison: "A WELL REGULATED militia, composed of the people, trained to arms, is the best and most natural defense of a free country." (1st Annals of Congress, at 434, June 8th 1789, emphasis added.
John Adams
John Adams
To suppose arms in the hands of citizens, to be used at individual discretion, except in private self-defense, or by partial orders of towns, countries or districts of a state, is to demolish every constitution, and lay the laws prostrate, so that liberty can be enjoyed by no man; it is a dissolution of the government. The fundamental law of the militia is, that it be created, directed and commanded by the laws, and ever for the support of the laws. ---John Adams, A Defence of the Constitutions of the United States 475 (1787-1788)

A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks. --- Thomas Jefferson to Peter Carr, 1785. The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, (Memorial Edition) Lipscomb and Bergh, editors.
One loves to possess arms, though they hope never to have occasion for them. --- Thomas Jefferson to George Washington, 1796. The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, (Memorial Edition) Lipscomb and Bergh, editors.
We established however some, although not all its [self-government] important principles . The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, (as in electing their functionaries executive and legislative, and deciding by a jury of themselves, in all judiciary cases in which any fact is involved,) or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; ---Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824. Memorial Edition 16:45, Lipscomb and Bergh, editors.
No freeman shall ever be debarred the use of arms. ---Thomas Jefferson: Draft Virginia Constitution, 1776.
Thomas Jefferson: "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined or determined to commit crimes. Such laws only make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assassins; they serve to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." (1764 Letter and speech from T. Jefferson quoting with approval an essay by Cesare Beccari)
Thomas Paine
Thomas Paine
Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.
It has been thought a considerable advance towards establishing the principles of Freedom, to say, that government is a compact between those who govern and those that are governed: but this cannot be true, because it is putting the effect before the cause; for as man must have existed before governments existed, there necessarily was a time when governments did not exist, and consequently there could originally exist no governors to form such a compact with. The fact therefore must be, that the individuals themselves, each in his own personal and sovereign right, entered into a compact with each other to produce a government: and this is the only mode in which governments have a right to arise, and the only principle on which they have a right to exist.

Planet of the apes
George Taylor: Doctor, I'd like to kiss you goodbye. Dr. Zira: All right, but you're so damned ugly.
George Taylor: And that completes my final report until we reach touchdown. We're now on full automatic, in the hands of the computers. I have tucked my crew in for the long sleep and I'll be joining them soon. In less than an hour, we'll finish our sixth month out of Cape Kennedy. Six months in deep space - by our time, that is. According to Dr. Haslein's theory of time, in a vehicle travelling nearly the speed of light, the Earth has aged nearly 700 years since we left it, while we've aged hardly at all. Maybe so. This much is probably true - the men who sent us on this journey are long since dead and gone. You who are reading me now are a different breed - I hope a better one. I leave the 20th century with no regrets. But one more thing - if anybody's listening, that is. Nothing scientific. It's purely personal. But seen from out here everything seems different. Time bends. Space is boundless. It squashes a man's ego. I feel lonely. That's about it. Tell me, though. Does man, that marvel of the universe, that glorious paradox who sent me to the stars, still make war against his brother? Keep his neighbor's children starving?
A little more about "The Star Conquerors"
The Star Conquerors was the first book that Ben Bova wrote to my understanding. It was also I believe, it's been a lot of years ago, one of if not the first science fiction book if not the first book I ever read and sparked my interest for reading in general. And read it I have a number of times. A book for young adults and adults it draws me back from time to time for a repeat visit. Not so complicated and drawn out like a lot of science fiction but still an interesting read. Not unlike Star Wars but also with very strong differences I guess my one wish would be that before my time comes to leave this earth that I might get a chance to see the bone heads in Hollywood turn this book into a movie. It's well deserving considering most of the garbage Hollywood puts out. Searching the internet i've found these books to be worth as much as 300.00 in excellent condition though the outer cover of the one in my keep shows considerable wear. I'm sure there are lots of them out there in libraries and such but i'd sure keep my eyes open at the garage sales.
The Jacket Cover Synopsis of
The Star Conquerors By Ben Bova
Geoffrey Knowland, brilliant young Star Watch officer, is in command of the Terran Confederation’s all-out battle against the mysterious Masters, rulers of the Milky Way galaxy. For untold millions of years the star clusters in galactic space have been under the Master’s control. Now, in an attempt to save Earth and the Terran Confederation, a desperate counter-attack is underway to break the domination of the enemy. Jeff knows that the Terrans fought and lost another interstellar war against an ancient enemy known only as the Others. The Terrans were crushed, their civilization wiped out, and Jeff fears the Masters are the Others, returned to conquer man again. This unusual story takes you deep into the galaxy, far beyond our solar system, to worlds seldom explored by science-fiction writers. Jeff and his friend, Alan Bakerman, an escapee from life under the Masters, travel the vast distances of space and touch upon the home worlds of many races, both human and nonhuman. Based on careful astronomical research, The Star Conquerors is a story played out against an accurate background of our immense spiral galaxy, a rotating disk of more than a hundred billion stars.

Carlos Robante: Because I know woman. If she will be mad or she will be sorry - if it is 'mad', she will be much pleasure to make right; and if she is 'sorry', it will be the same pleasure. You... you do not have women, so you do not know, senor. But me... Carlos Robante... I know!

George Washington McLintock - John Wayne
Becky! Come here. Somethin' I ought to tell you. Guess now's as good a time as any. You're going to have every young buck west of the Missouri around here tryin' to marry you - mostly because you're a handsome filly, but partly because I own everything in this country from here to there. They'll think you're going to inherit it. Well, you're not. I'm going to leave most of it to, well, to the nation really, for a park where no lumbermen'll cut down all the trees for houses with leaky roofs. Nobody'll kill all the beaver for hats for dudes nor murder the buffalo for robes. What I'm going to give you is a 500 cow spread on the Upper Green River. Now that may not seem like much, but it's more than we had, your mother and I. Some folks are gonna say I'm doin' all this so I can sit up in the hereafter and look down on a park named after me, or that I was disappointed in you - didn't want you to get all that money. But the real reason, Becky, is because I love you, and I want you and some young man to have what I had, because all the gold in the United States Treasury and all the harp music in heaven can't equal what happens between a man and a woman with all that growin' together. I can't explain it any better than that.
Mclintock, probably my all time favorite movie.
Some memorable quotes from Paint Your Wagon
Parson: Ye godless jaspers! Who are ya? Freemasons? Rosicrucians? Heathen emissaries from the depths of Babylon? Boozers! Gluttons! Gamblers! Fornicators!
Ben Rumson: Grace, I give you the boy. Give me back the man. Ben Rumson: Now, don't tell me you've never been with a woman. Horton: No, sir I haven't. Ben Rumson: Well, that, that's terrible! Did you know you could go blind?
Horace Tabor: Wait a minute! You can't buy a woman for money. Mad Jack Duncan: You just try and get one without it.
Ben Rumson: You mean to tell me you ain't never had a woman neither? Horton: No, sir. Ben Rumson: This is serious. You know you could go blind? Come here. [to 'Rotten Luck' Willie] Ben Rumson: Willie, if a young man was goin' trappin' for the first time and wanted a guide, somebody who would be patient with him and show him the way things are to be done; what kind of guide would you choose? 'Rotten Luck'Willie: [Thinking] Ah, that would be Gracie.
Mr. Fenty: Horton, how did that bottle get in your pocket? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DRINKING HARD LIQUOR? Horton: Well, since this afternoon. I know you don't approve, Pop, but believe me, until you've had a good cigar and a shot of whiskey, you're missing the second and third best things in life. Rumson: Horton! Pardner: Where'd you take him, Ben? Elizabeth: Damn you, Ben Rumson. What are you going to teach this boy next? How to cheat at cards, or just physical education with one of Willie's floozies? Horton: That's the best one, Pop! Rumson: Horton! Elizabeth: Is that what you did today, Ben? Rumson: That's what *he* did today, Elizabeth! I tell you, that boy's got a talent for dissipation that is absolutely unique! [Horton beams] Horton: [in a gambling hall/whorehouse] Pardon me, sir, could you lend me ten dollars? Pardner: Why don't you go home and go to bed? Horton: I was thinking of doing it the other way around. Ben Rumson: I always knew you had a farmer's mentality.

Hey CBS/Paramount,
This little trailer is better than anything you guys have put out in years. Why don't you boys pull your heads out of your asses and work with them instead of against them.
